CHUNLY Sereyvicheth

Director

Dr Sereyvicheth Chunly is the Director of both the Centre for Governance and Inclusive Society and the Centre for Educational Research and Innovation at the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI). He brings over 15 years of experience in research, policy analysis, program design and management, and policy advocacy, with expertise in governance, public administration, civic engagement, and inclusive development. Prior to joining CDRI, he has held positions within international development agencies and civil society organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Cambodia, East-West Management Institute, and Transparency International Cambodia. Throughout his career, Dr Sereyvicheth has led and contributed to numerous evidence-based studies aimed at informing policy and advancing development practice. Dr Sereyvicheth is the author of peer-reviewed journal articles, policy briefs, and analytical reports, and has also translated major works of political philosophy and literature into Khmer. In addition to his research and policy work, he has taught political science and international relations at the Royal University of Phnom Penh. Dr Sereyvicheth holds a PhD in Politics and International Relations from the University of Auckland (New Zealand), a Master of Arts in Political Science from Kobe University (Japan), and a Bachelor of Arts in Laws from Osaka University (Japan).
